HoTEL Workshop "How to Guide Innovation in a Changing Education Ecosystem?
This hands-on Learnshop aims to critically reflect on how to support innovation in TEL and to advance our understanding on what are the opportunities for innovation within vast changing and newly emerging lifelong and life-wide multi-stake- holder and multi-sided ecosystems? Join the panel of experts addressing this challenge in a Learnshop, organised as a part of the EU FP7 funded HoTEL project ‘Holistic approach to Technology-Enhanced Learning’. The overall objective of the project is to design, develop and test a support model for innovation in the area of technology-enhanced learning. Moderated by Andreas Meiszner and Elmar Husmann.

Pearson together with further ELIG members will run an interactive workshop around the Pearson Efficacy Framework and individuals will be able to use this opportunity to explore the application of efficacy as a tool to support TEL innovation.

Innovation and Learning Communities for a Sustainable Social Economy
The learning communities presented in this session are able to contribute to sustainability and socio-economic develop- ment. Hear how concrete initiatives at the right time and the right place can make a change will be shown by examples from Florence Rizzo, ELIG Fellow on "Schools communities as learning innovation catalysts for social change". Lieve Van Den Brande, European Commission will reflect in the session on the role of learning communities in "opening up education" chaired by Nikitas Kastis, MENON Network.
